It usually takes one waffle for me to get the timing dialed in but I can't do a waffle that doesn't have some crunch to it. That's why when I make them in hotel lobbies and the machine starts beeping to let me know it's done, I'll leave it in there for another 10 seconds or so. I will only eat the crunchy ones.
