About
What’s your name? My name is Esther Chai. And I can flip Pajeon (Korean pancakes) with one hand!
What’s your site about?Ambitious Deliciousness is a website featuring easy to follow homemade recipes, with some product/event reviews. The site has been operating since 2008.
What does your website name mean? Ambitious Delicious was my initial idea, because it was catchy (shoutout to my friend Larry!). But the domain name was already taken, so I went with Ambitious Deliciousness. I didn’t like it at first, but now I prefer the longer name. My new tagline “don’t eat lazy” is a reminder that a home cooked meal can be much more fulfilling if you devote even 10 minutes to making a meal yourself.
Are you a full-time blogger? I would love to be a full time blogger but I am not. During the day, I work as a digital public relations gal in NYC.
How do I search for a recipe you posted before? You can search through the Recipe Index, categorized according to ingredients, or go to the Search tab on top. It has been Google indexed so recipes should be easy to find.
Who takes the pictures and what kind of camera do you use for your photos?I take all the pictures on my site, except where noted. I started to use a Nikon DSLR starting in January 2011.
Will you review my event, restaurant, or product? I carefully consider all requests that come in to see if it’s relevant to my readers. I can’t make guarantees, but feel free to send me an email.
Do you want feedback on how your recipe worked out? Yes please! I love hearing about how the recipe worked for others. Good or bad, feel free to leave a comment on the post!

“I’m coming for you, vegetables! Muhahaha!!”
